The hunt for Eric Cord grinds on. Alamo Joe Rogan crosses state lines, dusty roads, and backwater towns, always a step behind his
quarry. No matter how close Rogan gets–no matter how many times his silver bullets nearly find their mark–Eric slips
away, aided by strangers or sheer chance.
But today, Rogan believes the pattern will finally break.
After posting a missing-person notice with Eric’s photo, Rogan is approached by a young boy who recognizes the man in the picture. The
boy leads him to his mother, Rosa, who quietly admits Eric worked for her—and that he “didn’t deserve what happened.” When
Rogan presses her, she reveals the truth: Eric Cord is in the town jail.
Rogan rushes to the station and sees Eric through the bars–ragged, exhausted, and unmistakably the man who has haunted his pursuit
ever since the night Eric became a monster. But nothing is simple. The deputy refuses to release Eric without the sheriff’s authorization, and
the sheriff is unreachable. Rogan has no choice but to wait.
He heads to Rosa’s restaurant, where he is haunted by a memory: the night he first crossed paths with Eric Cord. He recalls sitting alone at a
bar, numbing himself with whiskey, while two loudmouthed patrons picked a fight with him. Rogan endured it…until he didn’t. A flash of
violence, swift and decisive, left the men unconscious. Something hardened inside him that night—something that never softened again.
Rogan is pulled from the recollection by the deputy’s arrival with news: the sheriff has returned.
Rogan hurries back to the jail, only to be told the sheriff cannot release Eric into his custody. Before the argument escalates, a crash thunders
from the rear holding area—where the deputy had moved Eric. They sprint to the room and discover a barred window shattered outward, a broken,
bloody handcuff dangling from the wall ring.
Eric has changed. And escaped.
They chase the wolf into the darkness—an error they realize too late. Growls echo through the night. Gunfire erupts. Then silence.
Paramedics arrive to a grim scene: both Eric Cord and the deputy lie dead. Rogan’s silver bullet finally found its target. But Rogan, bleeding
from a vicious wound at his throat, barely clings to life.
As he lies in the hospital unsure of his fate, Eric’s lifeless body is delivered to the morgue.
But a terrible question hangs in the air—one Rogan cannot escape: Just as the curse passed from Ted to Eric…has it now passed from Eric to Rogan?
