Two teen boys sit in a lightless alley, Roger fresh from police custody after the officers realized he’d only stolen
trash—nothing of value, nothing that belonged to anyone. While discussing Janice’s recent murder behind the mall, they
remain unaware of an unseen watcher tracking their every movement.
With nowhere to sleep, they slip into a condemned building, mentioning the old man with the scar and eyepatch—Skorzeny—before
the presence stalking them explodes into the room. Claws and teeth tear through the dark, the attack swift and deliberate.
Eric arrives on the creature’s heels, silver-loaded gun ready, driving the beast out and into the deserted mall. Inside, the hunt
becomes a silent chase through shuttered storefronts and echoing corridors—sometimes Eric stalking the wolf, sometimes the reverse.
In the shadows, Eric finds Michelle, frightened but unharmed, the same girl tied to Janice’s world before it shattered. He hides her
in a back room, urging her to stay out of sight as he continues the pursuit.
When he finally confronts the werewolf in the mall’s deepest dark, he fires. As the body falls and shifts back into human form, Eric
is left staring at the face beneath the fur—one he never expected, a truth heavier than the gunshot that ended it.
